For this mode’s design, the D-Lab decided to include a Continuous Fiber Gapped Wall barrel, this barrel works by allowing the low compression outer wall to work hand-in-hand with the lower compression inner wall, giving you a progressive spring in contact that launches the ball. The Nihilist also incorporates a ZnX alloy handle, this handle gives you the stiffest feel, less flex and increased barrel deflection, made of a combination of zinc and aluminum resulting on a heat-treatable alloy of the highest strength. These two features make this bat hot straight out of the wrapper.
Lastly, this bat incorporates a Big D End Cap, which helps to absorb energy at ball impact, while redirecting it right back into the barrel, creating an increased trampoline effect. The bat also has a strategic end-load weighting, that will help players improve their confidence when hitting the ball, and achieving more powerful, longer and harder hits.
